My Website’s Improvement

This post is written to inform the reader about my website journey and how I improved my site.

I was asking for different opinions and different ways of how to make your website look professional. After I opened my website on my mobile device, it seemed to be hard to find important pages such as my About.Me profile and my Blog Posts, so I decided to move the icons to the top of home page and enlarge the letters, so it would be easy accessible.

After exploring the number of different themes and designs and talking to my friends, I made my mind and maintained my website in colours like grey, white and light-blue. This way it is not overwhelming and the information can be found easily.

I am looking forward to maintain my website the way it is now, however, I also want to improve my website in every possible way, so anyone would be able to use it without any issues.

My Hobby

I was always fascinated by the animal’s safety and rights. From the age of fourteen I became a vegetarian with a support of my mom. After all the literature I have read, after all petitions I signed- I realised that have a desire to try vegetarian diet as something new to find out whether it is for me or not. After one week of constant cooking and finding out what Quinoa is- me and my mom did not want to come back to our previous style of eating. I would not tell you how amazing and exciting this lifestyle is because everything has its own ups and downs, however, the fact that I really love animals and enjoy nature makes me feel good without eating meat. Vegetarianism is a decision. I made my mind up and I am happy about this. So.. What about you? What is your goal in life?

I will attach the video which was part of my University Assignment as a introduction to my actual hobby. I wanted to show that to make someone happy in life does not require you to build a plane, make a new discovery or find another planet where new generations could live. You just simply need to start. Start something that seems right for you and not for anybody else.

Be a part of an Animal Shelter where in the country, where I was born is something that makes me proud, which increases my self-esteem and helps lots of animals to live a better life. You do not need to help everyone, start from something small and who knows, maybe in the end you will happiness.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
